A shipment consisting of 9 or more pallets, weighing more than 10,000 lbs and exceeds 16 linear ft. There is typically one shipment on a truckload, which receives minimal handling between ship point and destination point.

A shipment that includes extreme length articles which require side loading, or extreme weight articles that require an overhead crane to load/unload. Over dimensional articles will require a drop deck trailer and some articles are required to receive an escort. There are varying types of flatbed/specialized equipment.

A shipment that requires transit faster than surface movement, usually over greater distances. This shipment requires coordinated carrier assignments which include: pick up from shipper and drop off at airline, air carrier fly’s from origin airport to destination airport, pick up from airline and drop off at consignee.

Limits to shipment sizes can apply depending on the movement type. Next flight out shipments are typically small packages, for same day movement and can move on passenger aircraft in most cases. Next day shipments are typically small to mid-size shipments from 1lb to 1000lbs, and can move on passenger aircraft with limitations.

An air charter is a shipment that requires exclusive use of an aircraft to expeditiously transport cargo from airport to airport with ground coordination on both ends. Payload can vary from 1 pound to 100,000+. Limits to shipment size (width, height, and weight) can vary based on selected aircraft.

This is contracted space as needed for long or short-term projects. Services in this may include: product movements in/out of warehouse, storage, inventory management, bar coding, pick/pack operations, pack/repack operations, kitting and light assembly order building.
